The ByteTheme Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates to earn commissions by referring customers to our website and digital WordPress products, including plugins, themes, and extensions.
By applying to or participating in the program, you agree to these Affiliate Program Terms.
2. Eligibility
Participation in the Affiliate Program is subject to approval. We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our sole discretion.
You must:
– Provide accurate account and payment information
– Be at least 18 years of age
– Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
3. Affiliate Links and Tracking
Affiliates will receive a unique referral link. Sales are tracked through cookies and tracking systems on our website.
Commissions are only credited when:
– A customer purchases through your valid affiliate link
– The purchase is successfully completed
– The transaction is not refunded or reversed
We do not guarantee uninterrupted tracking and are not responsible for tracking failures caused by browser settings, ad blockers, or third-party interference.
4. Commission Structure
Commission rates are displayed in your affiliate dashboard or communicated separately.
Commissions:
– Apply only to eligible products
– Are calculated based on the net sale amount (excluding taxes, fees, or refunds)
– Are void if a refund is issued
We reserve the right to modify commission rates at any time.
5. Payment Terms
Affiliate payouts are made after a holding period to account for potential refunds or chargebacks.
Payments:
– Are issued once the minimum payout threshold is reached
– Are processed via the payment method specified in your affiliate account
– May be subject to transaction fees
Affiliates are responsible for any taxes applicable in their jurisdiction.
6. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates may not:
– Use misleading, false, or deceptive marketing
– Impersonate ByteTheme or represent themselves as an official partner or employee
– Use spam email, unsolicited messages, or illegal advertising methods
– Bid on branded keywords in paid advertising without written permission
– Use coupon or discount codes not officially provided by ByteTheme
– Self-refer or generate artificial sales
Violation may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
7. Intellectual Property
Affiliates may use approved marketing materials, logos, and banners provided by ByteTheme.
You may not modify branding assets without written permission.
All intellectual property rights remain the property of ByteTheme.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your affiliate account at any time if:
– You violate these terms
– You engage in fraudulent or abusive practices
– Your promotional methods harm our brand reputation
Upon termination:
– Unpaid commissions may be forfeited in cases of policy violations
– Affiliate links will be deactivated
9. Limitation of Liability
ByteTheme shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Affiliate Program.
We do not guarantee specific earnings or conversion rates.
10. Modifications
We may update these Affiliate Program Terms at any time. Continued participation after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Independent Contractor Status
Affiliates are independent contractors. Participation in the program does not create a partnership, employment, agency, or joint venture relationship.
